About Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA): Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA) works to educate the public and lawmakers about the real dangers of nuclear weapons, the need for further nuclear disarmament, and the urgent necessity of nuclear non-proliferation. We focus on de-alerting existing arsenals; stopping the creation of new nuclear weapons; respecting our treaties; banning weapons in outer space; and eliminating arsenals of existing weapons to create a nuclear weapons-free world. Our long-term vision is to focus public opinion to support the eventual elimination of nuclear weapons by the US and, through international negotiations, the other nuclear powers, and increasing the multilateral aspects of our control of nuclear terrorism. We also seek a bipartisan consensus in Congress on these issues.
