Global Education Motivators will demonstrate a variety of programs that can enhance teaching about Africa. GEM has consistently worked with students, teachers and administrators through on-site and distant learning workshops and classroom program support to promote a better understanding of the world and its people.

About the African Studies Center:

The African Studies Center at the University of Pennsylvania brings together researchers and students, along with cultural, business and media entities, to gain knowledge of contemporary and historical Africa.

The Center coordinates a wide range of course offerings and events in a variety of disciplines ranging from history, language and culture to health, science and business.
