Effat University and Chestnut Hill College Videoconference Exchange Program
GEM's mission is to bring the world into th
e classroom. We do this through a variety of means, including our distance learning (videoconference) programs. Being housed at Chestnut Hill College gives GEM the opportunity to work closely with the study body and faculty on many wonderful programs. This relationship is made stronger with GEM's membership in the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI).
The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is a global initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in furthering the realization of the purposes and mandate of the Organization through activities and research in a shared culture of intellectual social responsibility.
The videoconference exchange program began with a cultural program in December 2015. The exchange continued in Spring 2016 with the United Nations in Your World Series. Read more below about the upcoming and past exchange programs.
