United Nations in Your World Structured or customized, resource supported, programs from the UN. Choose from topics such as: The Environment, Health, Human Rights, International Law, Model UN, Peace & Security, Peacekeeping, Poverty, Rights of Children, Sustainable Development, UN Preparation, & War Affected Children Grades 8-12 Cost: $50 per hour From Words to Deeds Student empowerment program that helps move students from awareness to action. Teachers are given background materials on the selected topic, and through a one-hour video conference, students explore this topic, and discuss ways to solve this global issue in their own community. Topics include; poverty, hunger, clean water, environmental sustainability, children's rights, and much more. Grades 5-12 Cost: $50 UN/Global Issues Three separate in-depth classroom oriented looks at important global issues confronting young people. Each one includes resource materials and is hosted at the United Nations with UN experts teaching the class.

African Perspective Programs Classroom programs with African nationals on African history and culture. Offerings include structured programs as well as customized ones.
