The United Nations in Your World

1999-2000 Monthly Interactive Video Conference Series

Done for Partners in Distance Learning (PDL) in collaboration with the United Nations.

Below is a summary of the UN interactive video conferencing series offered to PDL schools this past school year.  For the 2000-2001 school year GEM will customize UN programs to meet your classroom needs or your class could sign up for prearranged programs that will be offered next fall.

Each of the following programs was done from the United Nations in New York City.  On average, ten schools from the states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania participated.  The programs were offered the first Wednesday of each month from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
