In a global setting, GEM is focusing on the areas of human rights, literacy, the environment and the United Nations. At the GEMNET and GEMRIM websites you can find much information and links to sources on these three topics. Via GEMQUEST you can have a cross-cultural study/travel program developed that deals with the focus areas of GEM. One of GEM’s contributions to Chestnut Hill College is the establishment of a UN/NGO Resource Center that concentrates on the United Nations and the global issues of human rights, conflict resolution, disarmament and the environment. The materials are free to borrow and include videotapes, teaching kits, briefing papers, classroom activities, posters and more.
