2010 Design Science/Global Solutions Lab
The sixth annual Design Science/Global Solutions Lab will be held June 13-21, 2010 at the UN in New York and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.

Students and young professionals from around the world* are coming to this year's Lab.
Participants will:

Be briefed by UN experts (from the UN Development Program, UN Environment Program, UN Food and Agricultural Organization, UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO and others)

Develop comprehensive designs and strategies for achieving one or more of the UN's Millennium Development Goals—and solving some of the world's most critical problems and barriers to peace

Present their work at the end of the Lab to the UN as well as have it published in an annual report

Learn a powerful strategic design and planning methodology that will be of use for the rest of their life

Learn about leadership, problem solving and the design revolution

Learn about global problems, options, technology, culture, resources and what they can do to make a difference

Meet others with similar passions about the state of the world—and what we can do to make things better.
