Students and young professionals from around the world* are coming to this year's Lab.

Participants will:

  • Be briefed by UN experts (from the UN Development Program, UN Environment Program, UN Food and Agricultural Organization, UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO and others)
  • Develop comprehensive designs and strategies for achieving one or more of the UN's Millennium Development Goals—and solving some of the world's most critical problems and barriers to peace
  • Present their work at the end of the Lab to the UN as well as have it published in an annual report
  • Learn a powerful strategic design and planning methodology that will be of use for the rest of their life
  • Learn about leadership, problem solving and the design revolution
  • Learn about global problems, options, technology, culture, resources and what they can do to make a difference
  • Meet others with similar passions about the state of the world—and what we can do to make things better.
