Levels of Participation:

International Student Leaders at the United Nations -
Student leaders convene in New York on February 17 for leadership training. Leaders finalize the draft of a Plan of Action from the online contributions, complete the program agenda, and determine final leadership responsibilities for the conference on February 20, 2017.

Delegates at the videoconferencing sites -

Regional leaders participate in a 5 hour videoconference on February 20, 2017. This international videoconference will take place at the United Nations and at regional sites around the world.  UNSLCD will link students from various countries to the UN for this student led discussion and completion of a student plan of action on sustainable development.

Students can attend the conference as a delegate in New York. They will be at the United Nations, can contribute to the discussions, and vote on the Final Plan of Action. See costs below.

    • Tbilisi, Sakartvelo (Republic of Georgia)
    • Makati City, Philippines
    • Chennai, India
    • Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
    • Hammonton, United States of America

Costs for Participation -
International Student Leaders in New York: $175 (includes lunch on Friday and Monday)
