About the Conference:
This one day conference is for teachers, future teachers, administrators and NGOs to have a global dialogue on human rights education.  It is a follow-up on UNTCHR2014 on their work to teach peace and human rights.

  • Participate in an international videoconference dialogue on the future of human rights and peace education.
  • Present your work at the United Nations and to the world (limited time slots).
  • Meet the 2015 Global Educator of the Year
  • Meet UN officials and learn what the UN is doing in human rights and peace education.
  • Meet Ella Torrey, former aide to Eleanor Roosevelt, whose leadership brought us the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
  • Work with educators from Camboida, Mexico, Philippines, Jamaica, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, the US, and more.
  • Move your human rights awareness from words to deeds.
  • Receive a UNECHR2015 Certificate of Participation
