About the Conference:
This one day conference is for teachers, future teachers, administrators and NGOs to have a global dialogue on human rights education.  It is a follow-up on UNTCHR2013 with teacher presentations on their work.


   Are your aware of what is happening regarding teaching human rights around the world?
   Would you like to know what is happening in the classroom and in the NGO community?    
   If you are teaching human rights or educating for a culture of peace, would you like to share   
   your work? Join us on April 4th.

  • Participate in an international videoconference dialogue on the future of human rights and peace education.
  • Present your work at the United Nations and to the world (limited time slots).
  • Meet the 2014 Global Educator of the Year
  • Meet UN officials and learn what the UN is doing in human rights and peace education.
  • Meet Ella Torrey, former aide to Eleanor Roosevelt, whose leadership brought us the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
  • Work with educators from Canada, Kenya, India, Mexico, the Philippines, South Sudan, Uganda, the US, and more.
  • Move your human rights awareness from words to deeds.
  • Receive a UNTCHR2014 Certificate of Participation
