Peace Day Philly

March for Peace on the International Day of Peace - September 21

Peace Day Philly is a grassroots initiative that encourages active participation across the Philadelphia region in the International Day of Peace, a global day of ceasefire and non-violence observed worldwide on September 21.

"It is not enough to teach children how to read, write and count. Education has to cultivate mutual respect for others and the world in which we live, and help people forge more just, inclusive and peaceful societies."
